Whitney Michelle Rybczyk was born in Gastonia, North Carolina on March 18, 1989.  She is currently a twelth grader at  Forestview High School.  She is the daughter of Alan and Joann Rybczyk and the youngest of three children.  Aside from being a sister to Felicia and Arifah, she is an Aunt to Tea` and Elijah.

Whitney started playing basketball at age 8 at the Gaston County YMCA. After two years there, she played her first of two years with the East Gaston Sharks basketball club, participating in AAU tournaments. She has since played for the Winston-Salem Stealers, Charlotte Fire and most recently, the Queen City Dynasty.

Whitney is not just a player though.  She is active in her church, Family Christian Center. She faithfully attends Service on Sundays and Wednesdays. She avidly enjoys attending youth functions and assists with the church dance team.
